(2 Samuel 3:1–5)

Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess:(a)

The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith:

The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.
4
These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.
5
And these were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath–shua the daughter of Ammiel:(b) (c) (d)

Ibhar also, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,(e)
7
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
8
And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.(f)

These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.

The Descendants of Solomon

And Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, Abia his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,(g)

Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,(h)
12
Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,(i)
13
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14
Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15
And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.(j) (k) (l)

And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.(m)

And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Salathiel his son,(n)

Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

And the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister:
20
And Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab–hesed, five.
21
And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jesaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah.
22
And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah: and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.
23
And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three.(o)
24
And the sons of Elioenai were, Hodaiah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Dalaiah, and Anani, seven.

David aber hatte diese Söhne, welche ihm zu Hebron geboren wurden: Den Erstgeborenen Amnon von Achinoam, der Jezrahelitin, den zweiten Daniel von Abigail aus Karmel,

des dritten Absalom, den Sohn Maachas, der Tochter Tholmais, des Königs von Gessur, den vierten Adonias, den Sohn Aggiths,
3
den fünften Saphatias von Abital, den sechsten Jethraham von seinem Weibe Egla.
4
Sechs wurden ihm also zu Hebron geboren, wo er sieben Jahre und sechs Monate herrschte; und dreiunddreißig Jahre herrschte er zu Jerusalem.
5
Diese Söhne aber wurden ihm zu Jerusalem geboren: Simmaa, Sobab, Nathan und Salomon, vier von Bethsabee, der Tochter Ammiels,

ebenso Jebaar, Elisama,
7
Eliphaleth, Noge, Nepheg, Japhia,
8
Elisama, Eliada und Elipheleth, neun;
9
alle diese sind Söhne Davids, außer den Söhnen der Nebenfrauen; und sie hatten zur Schwester die Thamar.

Die Familie Salomos

10
Der Sohn Salomons aber war Roboam, dessen Sohn Abia den Asa zeugte, von welchem Josaphat gezeugt ward,

der Vater Jorams, welcher den Ochozias zeugte, von dem Joas abstammt.
12
Dessen Sohn Amasias zeugte den Azarias, und der Sohn Azarias Joathan
13
zeugte den Achaz, den Vater Ezechias, von welchem Manasses abstammt.
14
Manasses zeugte Amon, den Vater Josias.
15
Die Söhne Josias aber waren: der Erstgeborne Johanan, der zweite Joakim, der dritte Sedekias, der vierte Sellum.
16
Von Joakim stammen Jechonias und Sedekias ab.

Das Geschlecht Jeconjas

Die Söhne Jechonias waren: Asir, Salathiel,
18
Melchiram, Phadaja, Senneser, Jekemia, Sama und Nadabia.
19
Von Phadaja stammen Zorobabel und Semei ab. Zorobabel zeugte Mosollam, Hanania, und Salomith, ihre Schwester;
20
ebenso Hasaba, Ohol, Barachias, Hasadias, Josabhesed, fünf.
21
Der Sohn Hananias aber war Phaltias, der Vater des Jesejas; dessen Sohn war Raphaja, dessen Sohn Arnan, von welchem Obdia herstammt, dessen Sohn Sechenias war.
22
Sechenias Sohn war Semeja; dessen Söhne waren: Hattus, Jegaal, Baria, Naaria und Saphat, sechs an der Zahl.
23
Die Söhne Naarias waren: Elioenai, Ezechias, Ezrikam, drei.
24
Die Söhne Elioenais: Oduja, Eliasub, Pheleja, Akkub, Johanan, Dalaja und Anani, sieben.
