- Kapitel 3 -

(Zechariah 2:6–13)

Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.(a)

So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:(b)

And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.

For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:(c)

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.

Israel wird zu Gott zurückkehren

(Sacharja 2,6-13)

Und der Herr sprach zu mir: Gehe nochmals hin und liebe eine Frau, die vom Freunde geliebt wird, aber die Ehe bricht; gleichwie der Herr die Söhne Israels liebt, die sich aber fremden Göttern zuwenden und Traubenkuchen lieben.

Und ich erwarb sie mir um fünfzehn Silberlinge und um anderthalb Kor Gerste.

Dann sprach ich zu ihr: Lange Zeit sollst du meiner harren, du sollst nicht buhlen noch dich einem Manne ergeben, ebenso aber auch will ich deiner harren!

Denn lange Zeit werden die Söhne Israels ohne König bleiben, ohne Fürsten, ohne Opfer, ohne Altar, ohne Ephod und ohne Theraphim.

Darnach aber werden die Söhne Israels sich bekehren und den Herrn, ihren Gott, und David, ihren König, suchen und werden sich am Ende der Tage in Furcht dem Herrn und seinen Gütern nahen.
