- Kapitel 7 -

(Leviticus 5:14–19; Leviticus 6:1–7)

Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.

In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle round about upon the altar.

And he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards,

And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:

And the priest shall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the Lord : it is a trespass offering.

Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.

As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.

And the priest that offereth any man’s burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.

And all the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dressed in the fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest’s that offereth it.(a)

And every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.

The Peace Offering

(Leviticus 3:1–17)

And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the Lord .

If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.

Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.

And of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the Lord , and it shall be the priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.

And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.

But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:

But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.

And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.

But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the Lord , having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the Lord , even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Fat and Blood Forbidden

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.

And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.(b)

For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord , even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.

Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.

Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

The Priests’ Portion

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the Lord shall bring his oblation unto the Lord of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.

His own hands shall bring the offerings of the Lord made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the Lord .

And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron’s and his sons’.

And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.

He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.

For the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel.

This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the Lord made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the Lord in the priest’s office;

Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

Which the Lord commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the Lord , in the wilderness of Sinai.

Das Gesetz vom Schuldopfer

(3. Mose 5,14-19; 3. Mose 6,1-7)

Und dies sind die Vorschriften des Schuldopfers: Es ist hochheilig;

darum soll da, wo das Brandopfer geschlachtet werden wird, auch das Schuldopfer geschlachtet werden; das Blut desselben soll rings um den Altar gegossen werden.

Man soll davon den Schwanz und das Fett, das die Eingeweide bedeckt, opfern;

beide Nieren, und das Fett, das an den Weichen liegt, und das Netz der Leber mit den Nieren.

Und der Priester soll es auf dem Altare verbrennen; es ist ein dem Herrn für die Schuld dargebrachtes Feueropfer.

Jeder männliche Abkömmling aus priesterlichem Geschlechte soll von diesem Fleische an heiliger Stätte essen, weil es hochheilig ist.

Wie das Sündopfer, so wird auch das Schuldopfer dargebracht; für beide Opfer soll die gleiche Vorschrift gelten. Dem Priester, der sie opfert, sollen sie gehören.

Der Priester, welcher das Brandopfer darbringt, soll das Fell desselben erhalten.

Und jedes Speiseopfer von feinem Mehl, das im Ofen gebacken wird, sowie alles, was auf dem Roste oder in der Pfanne bereitet wird, soll dem Priester gehören, der es darbringt;

es mag mit Öl angemacht oder trocken sein, unter alle Söhne Aarons soll es zu gleichem Teil für jeden verteilt werden.

Das Gesetz der Friedensopfer

(3. Mose 3,1-17)

Das sind die Vorschriften über das Friedopfer, das dem Herrn dargebracht wird.

Wird es als Dankopfer dargebracht, so soll man ungesäuerte, mit Öl angemachte Brote opfern und ungesäuerte Kuchen, mit Öl bestrichen, und geröstetes feines Mehl, und Kuchen mit Öl angemacht,

auch gesäuerte Brote zu dem Dankopfer, das als Friedopfer dargebracht wird;

und zwar soll davon je eines als Erstling dem Herrn geopfert werden, dieses gehöre dem Priester, der das Blut des Schlachtopfers ausgießt.

Das Fleisch davon aber soll an demselben Tage gegessen werden, und nichts davon soll bis zum Morgen übrigbleiben.

Bringt jemand infolge eines Gelübdes oder freiwillig ein Schlachtopfer dar, so soll es ebenfalls an demselben Tage gegessen werden; wenn aber etwas zum anderen Tage übrigbleibt, so darf auch das gegessen werden.

Was sich aber am dritten Tage vorfindet, soll mit Feuer verbrannt werden.

Sollte jemand noch am dritten Tage von dem Fleische des Friedopfers essen, so soll das Opfer ungültig sein und dem Darbringenden nichts nützen; ja, wer sich mit solcher Speise verunreinigt, soll der Übertretung schuldig sein.

Fleisch, welches mit etwas Unreinem in Berührung gekommen ist, soll nicht gegessen, sondern mit Feuer verbrannt werden; im übrigen mag jeder, der rein ist, Fleisch essen.

Wer, während er mit Unreinheit behaftet ist, von dem Fleische des Friedopfers ißt, das dem Herrn dargebracht ist, soll ausgetilgt werden aus seinem Volke.

Und wenn jemand mit der Unreinigkeit eines Menschen, oder eines Stück Viehes, oder einer anders Sache, die verunreinigen kann, in Berührung gekommen ist und von diesem Fleische ißt, so soll er ausgetilgt werden aus seinem Volke.

Fett und Blut dürfen nicht gegessen werden

Und der Herr redete zu Moses und sprach:

Sage den Söhnen Israels: Das Fett von Schafen und Rindern und Ziegen sollt ihr nicht essen.

Das Fett eines gefallenen Aases und eines Tieres, das von einem wilde Tiere ergriffen ward, möge euch zu verschiedenem Gebrauche dienen.

Wer Fett ißt, das dem Herrn als Feueropfer dargebracht werden soll, soll ausgetilgt werden aus seinem Volke.

Auch kein Blut von Tieren sollt ihr zur Speise nehmen, es sei von Vögeln oder von Vieh.

Jeder, welcher Blut ißt, soll ausgetilgt werden aus seinem Volke.

Der Anteil von Aaron und seinen Söhnen

Und der Herr redete zu Moses und sprach:

Sage den Söhnen Israels und gebiete ihnen: Wer dem Herrn ein Friedopfer darbringt, soll zugleich ein Beiopfer darbringen, das ist ein Trankopfer dazu.

Mit eigenen Händen soll er das Fett des Opfertieres und die Brust bringen; und nachdem er beides dem Herrn geopfert und geheiligt hat, soll er es dem Priester übergeben,

welcher das Fett auf dem Altare verbrennen soll; das Bruststück aber soll Aaron und seinen Söhnen gehören.

Auch das rechte Schulterstück des Friedopfertieres soll dem Priester als Anteil zufallen.

Derjenige, welcher von den Söhnen Aarons das Blut und Fett darbringt, soll als seinen Anteil auch das rechte Schulterstück haben.

Denn das Bruststück der Erhebung und das Schulterstück der Trennung habe ich von den Söhnen Israels, von ihren Friedopfern, genommen und sie Aaron, dem Priester, und seinen Söhnen durch ewiggeltendes Gesetz vom ganzen Volke Israel gegeben.

Dies ist die Salbung Aarons und seiner Söhne nach den heiligen Gebräuchen des Herrn an dem Tage, an welchem Moses sie hintreten ließ, das Priestertum zu verwalten;

und dies hat der Herr befohlen, ihnen seitens der Söhne Israels zu geben, als ewige Verbindlichkeit für ihre Geschlechter.

Dies sind die Vorschriften über das Brandopfer, das Sündopfer und das Schuldopfer, und für die Einweihungs- und die Friedopfer,

welche der Herr Moses auf dem Berge Sinai gab, als er den Söhnen Israels befahl, dem Herrn ihre Opfer in der Wüste Sinai darzubringen.
