- Kapitel 15 -

Who may dwell on your holy mountain?

Lord , who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?(a)
2
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
3
He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.(b)
4
In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord . He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
5
He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Wer darf auf deinem heiligen Berg wohnen?

Ein Psalm Davids. O Herr! wer darf weilen in deinem Zelte? Oder wer darf wohnen auf deinem heiligen Berge?

Wer unsträflich wandelt und Gerechtigkeit übt,
3
wer Wahrheit spricht in seinem Herzen, wer mit seiner Zunge nicht Trug übt, wer seinem Nächsten nichts Übles tut und Schmähung nicht auf seinen Nächsten häuft;
4
in wessen Augen der Bösewicht nichts gilt, der oder die, welche den Herrn fürchten, in Ehren hält; wer seinem Nächsten schwört und ihn nicht betrügt;
5
wer sein Geld nicht auf Wucher gibt und Geschenke nicht annimmt gegen den Unschuldigen; wer so handelt, wird nimmermehr wanken.
